Waun Fach will be your next climb leading to traverse the ridge, gliders and Red Kites fly together. Below is the Marathon route from here. The 50 miler carry on the ridge dropping off Lord Herefords Knob before once again climbing to regain height and join the Offas Dyke path leading you to eventually dropping in on the Abbey at Llantony. Conquering the last mountain you will head back across the valley to your final few miles before your last climb back towards the Table Mountain and your fast yet steep decent to victory.
Marathon route leaving the 50 route you will take a right turn at Rhos Dirion towards the reservoir (keeping that on your right below) dropping down from the mountain you will head into the beautiful forest of Mynydd Du. Staying on the forest trails you will eventually cross the valley and remain in the forest. A beautiful but technical section will lead you to the ridge with Crug Mawr to you left. You descend through a magnificent valley on perfect trails. Heading towards and to conquer that final climb to the Table Mountain. Your final fast yet steep down hill section will lead you to the finish.
